We didn't know Rich really well like we should have but, I really admire him for coming out to play even though he was not feeling well. He completed your group! So now he's in GOD'S BAND !!! (The service you's had at Ridley Creek for Rich was very nice) Take Care!! The Conroys & JIM

Hello, I'm so pleased you finally have a website. I've been looking for info about you for along time because the CD I bought from you is getting all scratched from use. :) When you played at the celebration in Gap, PA 5 or 6 years ago my son was dancing to your music out front of the Gap Fire Hall. I brought him over in the wagon and we both fell in love with your music. He's 7 now, and can still sing along with some of the songs. Our favorites our The Hound Dog and white cat/black cat. I look forward to takeing my kids to see you in PA this summer!

I just want to send a heartfelt thank you to the band. You guys made my fathers life the past few years, since my brother and I left for the military, so happy. I truly believe that you along with his family are the reason my father lived so long. I know my father misses you so much and I'm sure he's playing the jaw bone in heaven. You became part of our family when you met my father. I will love you all the rest of my life for knowing what you did for my father. Thank you for coming to his funeral and for the spreading of his ashes. And great thanks for doing a memorial service for him at Ridley Creek. Being a military member and knowing my father had military honors there means more to me than you will ever know. Knowing what you did for him through out these years brings me to tears. Thank you for all you've done in the past, present and future. My thanks and undying love. Best of luck with the band!

My parents came back from Rich's Memorial @ Ridley Park and were simply overcome with emotion by the ceremony you all held for him. They were not expecting a tribute of that magnitude. It meant so much to them and, in return, me. Mere words could never express my gratitude. You are all an amazing group of people and continue to ease our hearts during this difficult time. I have to thank you again for your thoughts, prayers and actions. It is easy to see why you were such a big part of his life. Thank you all.

Today is Rich's birthday. I see most of Rich's and my sisters have beaten me to the punch. It meant a lot to have the band at Rich's funeral and it was great to hear you play back at the house. You guys will always have a legion of fans among Rich's parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc. Thanks for all you did for Rich.

I want to thank you all for all you did for my brother, Rich. You truly meant so very much to him. He loved you all. You extended his life during his long, hard battle in the happiest way possible. For that I am forever in your debt. I appreciate your coming to his funeral and making this very difficult day memorable. It was great to hear your stories and listen to your musical tribute. You are very kind and caring. Rich couldn't have picked a better bunch of friends. Thank you. I will always have a place in my heart for you as well. ~Debbi

From the members of Mr. Lemuel's Red Mill Serenaders, we send our condolences to all of you and Rich's family.
I definitely know one little guy, Mark, that will be greatly saddend by Rich's passing. Mark really enjoyed watching Rich play and whenever Mark saw Rich, he always made sure to give him a big hug as his way of saying thanks.
Again, we're sorry for your loss. Hope to see you on the road and get to lineup with you.
All the best,
Len

I discovered you while searching for a good version of Rose of Alabama on iTunes, and immediately bought your album. I've "known" you for five minutes, and I'm already a big fan.
Now I'm going to explore your Web site and find out more about you..
Sorry about the loss of your colleague.

First, I'd like to thank you, King, Dave and Renny (and Joe) for coming to the service for Rich. It was wonderful to meet you all, finally. To see and hear you play was something I'll never forget and hope to do again. The kind words and stories you shared made a very difficult day something to enjoy. Thank you for it all. I'd also like to say thank you to everyone else for their thoughts and heartfelt, shared sympathy. I'm so glad you got to see and know my brother. To know he impacted your lives also means a lot to me. I really don't know what else to say, so just thank you.

Rest in peace, my old friend. I remember meeting you for the first time at Ridley Creek years ago. You bemoaned the fact that you couldn't participate because of work. When I told you how I could still do it despite a 60 hour week, you said "You're right! If not now, when?" And you joined and never looked back...

If we hold a fond memory in our hearts and minds of someone, it is because they touched our lives in a way that in some way, changed it for the better. Rich Bauer was and always will be one of those people, for me, that made my reenacting and musical experiences all the better. His courage, talents and memory should never be forgotten. Huzzah Pard...we'll miss you.

Thank you. That's it. Just thank you. You have no idea how much it has meant to him to be a part of all this. It has made him so proud and you are all very important to him. Just a couple days ago he was telling our Mom how he couldn't wait to get back. He was fashioning something to help him hold the jawbone a different way. Again, thank you.
Sincerely,
Vicki Carrier

I do want you to know that I found that the MP3 for Rose of Alabama is switched with that of O Lud Gals.

My thanks to The Camptown Shakers for their terrific participation in our Tent Chautauqua in Delaware City. I appreciate everything they did. They accompanied Alexander Graham Bell so well and worked hard on the transitions. It was just great to have them there. I hadn't danced and had so much fun in a long time.
I hope everyone will join us again in the near future.
My best regards and appreciation,
Julia Morrill
